7 kW or 22 kW: which power is right for you?

One charger, two power configs. The right one is decided by your home's supply and what your car can accept. Here is how to tell.

Choose 7 kW if...

Your home runs on standard single-phase power, as most Australian homes do. The 7 kW config plugs into that supply with no changes, and an overnight charge easily covers a typical day's driving.

It is also the right pick when your car's on-board charger tops out at 7 kW or less, because the car is always the ceiling on charging speed, no matter what the wallbox can deliver.

Choose 22 kW if...

Your property has a three-phase supply, and your car's on-board charger takes more than 7 kW on three-phase AC. Then the 22 kW config uses the headroom you are already paying for.

Not sure what your supply or your car accepts? Check your model in the compatibility tool, which shows the on-board AC charger each variant gets, and we confirm everything on the verification call.
