Installation questions

See how installation works →

No. Installation is a fixed price you add in the buy box. After you order, an electrician calls to confirm your switchboard, cable run, and install location before anything is booked.

Installation is available within 10 metres of your switchboard. Longer runs are possible but quoted separately on the verification call.

No photo uploads are needed. The electrician assesses your switchboard live on the verification call, which usually takes less than 15 minutes.

Most standard installs are done in a single visit. We confirm timing for your setup on the verification call, and flag anything that adds time upfront in your quote.

Yes. Every install is completed by a licensed electrician, and a Certificate of Compliance is lodged with your state regulator afterwards.

We will tell you on the verification call, before you commit to anything. Upgrade work is quoted as a separate line item.

NEO questions

Installation is an optional add-on at a fixed price, added in the cart. It covers a standard install with the charger mounted within 10 metres of your switchboard, provided your switchboard does not need upgrading. An installer calls to verify your setup before install day. If anything needs extra work, it is quoted separately before anything proceeds.

NEO charges any EV with a Type 2 socket, the standard on cars sold in Australia today. A small number of older models use a Type 1 inlet; those are flagged on the brand pages, and we confirm the exact setup before you order.

7 kW runs on standard single-phase home power. 22 kW needs a three-phase supply at the property. Either way, your car's on-board charger caps the actual charging speed. The compatibility tool shows what each model can take.

Add the SC Kit and NEO charges from your surplus solar automatically: no home battery and no rewiring. It is configured and paired on install day.

SC Kit Solar Add-on questions

No. The SC Kit pairs directly with your existing solar inverter and diverts surplus solar power straight into your EV battery during peak production hours.
