Nissan home charging questions

The things Nissan owners ask us most, answered straight.

How much does it cost to install a home charger for a Nissan?

Every install is one fixed price before booking. Switchboard, cable run, and labour all covered. The price you see is the price you pay.

How long does it take to charge a Leaf at home?

The current Leaf charges at up to 6.6 kW, gaining up to 41 km of range per hour from the NEO, a comfortable overnight charge from a typical day of driving.

I have an earlier Leaf (2012 to 2018). Will it work?

Yes, with one extra part: the first-generation Leaf uses a Type 1 inlet, so it needs an untethered unit plus a Type 2-to-Type 1 lead rather than the tethered charger. Talk to us before ordering and we will spec it correctly.
