MG home charging questions
The things MG owners ask us most, answered straight.
How much does it cost to install a charger for my MG?
- Fixed price, locked before booking. The verification call confirms your switchboard and where the car parks, and that price covers the whole installation.
How long does it take to charge an MG4 at home?
- The MG4 and ZS EV charge at up to 6.6 kW, gaining up to 41 km of range per hour from the NEO. Plug in after dinner and it is full by morning, every night, with capacity to spare.
Is single-phase enough for an MG?
- Yes for the MG4 and ZS EV: both top out at 6.6 kW single-phase, and the 7 kW NEO gives them up to 41 km of range an hour. The MGS5 EV can take 11 kW on three-phase.
