Kia home charging questions

The things Kia owners ask us most, answered straight.

How much does it cost to install a home charger for a Kia EV?

Fixed price, published before anything is booked. The electrician confirms your supply and cable run on the verification call, and that price covers the full install.

How long does it take to charge an EV9 at home?

The EV9, EV6, EV5, and Niro EV all draw 11 kW on three-phase, gaining up to 69 km of range per hour from the NEO. Even the big EV9 battery is an overnight charge.

Is the EV9 too big for a home charger?

Not at all. It uses the same Type 2 inlet as every other Kia. The only thing that changes with a big battery is how much of the night it needs; three-phase charging covers it comfortably.
