How much does it cost to install a home charger for a BYD?

How long does it take to charge a BYD at home?
- Most BYDs (Atto 3, Dolphin, Sealion 6, Shark 6) top out at 7 kW single-phase, gaining up to 44 km of range per hour from the NEO, an easy overnight charge. The Seal draws 11 kW on three-phase, closer to 69 km per hour.
Do I need three-phase power for my BYD?
- Usually not. Most of the BYD range charges at 7 kW single-phase, which is the supply most Australian homes already have. The 22 kW unit only earns its keep on cars that can take three-phase, like the Seal.
